Your referral to Steps2Wellbeing
After you have completed a self-referral online, over the phone or by using Wysa, we will contact you to arrange an ‘initial assessment’ with one of our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs).
Please note that our number may show up as ‘withheld’ or ‘no caller ID’ meaning that you might not know it is us phoning.
Before you start treatment
It is very important that you read and agree to our Treatment and Confidentiality Agreement.
The agreement explains how we keep your information confidential and how to get the best out of your treatment.
Please click below to read it.
What happens at my initial assessment?
The initial assessment helps us to understand a bit more about why you have contacted us and what issues you may be having.
At the assessment the Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) will explore treatment options with you. This may include:
Courses and webinars
Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Counselling sometimes referred to as talking therapy
Guided or independent self help
If Steps2Wellbeing is not the right service for you, we will direct you to other services and organisations who may be able to help.
You will be emailed or texted instructions on how to join your course or access your treatment, so please check your email regularly including your ‘junk folder’.
We work with trusted partners to deliver your courses and treatment, so your text or email may mention:

Silvercloud
IESO
GotoMeetings
