Mental health problems are common, with 1 in 6 adults reporting a common mental health disorder such as anxiety.

The costs of poor mental health to UK employers are considerable, now costing up to £45 billion.

Investing in employees mental health can increase staff morale and loyalty, innovation, productivity and profits.

Dorset Healthcare NHS Talking Therapies Steps2Wellbeing service clinicians and employment advisors have developed mental health and wellbeing webinars and workshops for businesses to purchase. These are designed to support mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for you and your workforce.

We have identified common themes clients are presenting with and based our training on NHS Talking Therapies treatments.

The training is delivered by Steps2Wellbeing trained psychological therapists, clinicians and Employment Advisers.

Our team can also provide advice and signposting to relevant mental health and wellbeing services.

The mental health in the workplace sessions are delivered as a one-hour long webinar to fit around busy schedules. These webinars can be tailored to support your workforce’s individual needs and requirements.

The Disability Confident workshop has been specifically designed to support employers meet criteria within the Disability Confident levels. Disability Confident is a government scheme that helps employers attract, recruit and retain staff with a disability, this includes mental health. An evidence based Cognitive behaviour therapy model is combined with employment support to ensure maximum benefit for participants. It is suitable for employers that are currently disability confident and wish to move to another level.

Training can be delivered in person locally or online anywhere in the UK or internationally.
