Introduction

The first steps to making changes, starts with Low Intensity Support.

The majority of people who access our services benefit from the low intensity support which is provided by our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs). Low intensity just means that they are the least intensive or burdensome support that we can provide and can include:

Pure self help
Guided self help
Computerised CBT
Groups/Courses
Online Courses

Sometimes people need a little extra help to make the changes they need. This may be for those people who are struggling with Low Intensity options.
To build on the work you may have started in Low Intensity, we have more comprehensive interventions which are called High Intensity.

High Intensity means there is greater support, more intensive sessions and sessions of a longer duration. It is provided by Cognitive Behavioural Therapists (CBT).This can be delivered in two ways:

Specific groups
One to one therapy

High Intensity therapy can also be provided using Skype.
